Abstract

'walk away from it'
30 X 30
acrylic on canvas

A Recent Work

'the rookery'
24 X 18
acrylic on canvas

Painted on two panels this piece reflects the common habitat of the blue heron.  If you have ever encountered such a site it feels like you have stepped back into prehistoric times. The blue heron's call when flying overhead, sounds hauntingly like what I imagine a pterodactyl would sound like.

'Lonely Oak'

'Lonely Oak’ is a highly textured piece, reminiscent of often seen wide open places in the landscape where the century old lonely oak tree withstands the test of time.
